This corner unit was basically in drab dark brown with simple small white knobs. It cried out to be dressed in an elegant evening dress. So Frenchic Furniture Paint came to the rescue!

Flamenco mixed with Blackjack to create a darker shade of red. Some napkin decoupage to create a fabric look and the Frensheen Gorgeous Gold to frame the decoupage. Knobs were changed to authentic old pieces. Nothing fussy just so to complement the dress.

And finally a handful of finishing coat. And oh those chalk flowers were actually ‘glued’ with finishing coat! Just one minute and they were ready for the paint. And here it is. The Lady in Red.
