Rescoli by Carlo is the brain child of Carlo Olivari D’Demanuele. The word Rescoli comes from the surname Pantalleresco (the maiden surname of the maternal grandmother) and Olivari, thus creating an eclectic name to all endeavours of Carlo.
Born in June 1975, Carlo had his first experience in business at the age of 12 years when he helped in the management of a shop. By the age of 15, he was already in the flower decorating business, decorating churches for feasts and weddings for family members. At this time he already had started writing short stories and poems in different languages, together with theatre plays. He had also published his writings in local and school magazines, with plays performed for local drama groups.
At the age of 23 years he graduated with Honours in social work at the University of Malta, and has since then been warranted to work in this profession. Recently he also obtained a post-graduate Diploma in European Social Policy.
His latest endeavours are in environment, mainly promoting recycling, up-cycling and re-loving of anything from junk to furniture. He is currently the sole agent to Frenchic Furniture Paint in Malta and also heading Rescoli by Carlo, where furniture painting is involved.
Carlo is also a published author and has been involved in many projects related to the arts and culture. Click for more information on books published by Carlo and his on-going involvement in the arts and culture.
