This side table has been given some pampering. It was in our store for over 4 years and needed some TLC first. That done, a quick clean and two lashings of Frenchic Furniture Paint’s Blackjack. Some trimmings were treated with Beautiful Bronze and then some browning wax to give it some shade. The top was also covered in black and when dry, dark napkins were decoupaged, leaving some roughness to create a sort of crackle and aged look. The flowery pattern was a bit lost purposefully so that it would not take over the surface.

All this work, with drying time in this windy afternoon, took about 3 hours in total from start to finish.
