Three doors were given a renovated classic look thanks to Frenchic Furniture Paint’s Polar Bear, Hot as Mustard and Frensheen Gorgeous Gold. The doors are very old, with one of them being a front door about 150 years ago.

So it was decided that an uplift was needed to give some shine and glory to a door that has seen the plague and two world wars. We also did some raised stencilling to enhance its history.

It was also established that some defects should not be erased. That is, the wear and tear of olden times, including the wooden knots and veins, should be given their due by not stocking, but leaving them as a reminder of their history.
