This last week or so Rescoli by Carlo have been working on a piece of faux mahogany furniture which many Maltese households have either seen or have at home.

The process is lengthy but we are already bearing some early fruit.

The colour chosen is a mix of Frenchic Malta colours after research into old Maltese furniture suggested it was typical of painted furniture in the 18th century on our islands.

But there will be a contemporary twist as a celebration of our heritage.
